Sadie
Our dear Sadie is ready for a forever home to call her own. She is thought to be around 2 years old. She is up to date on vaccines, spayed, has a microchip and overall in great health. She weighs 66 pounds, she needs to gain maybe 10 pounds.
Sadie spent her short life in a puppy mill type situation. She is shy, timid, and does not care for loud male voices. She is a flight risk and will require a 6 ft fenced yard.
Sadie is not a fan of small animals of any shape or type, so no cats, small dogs or any other small animals in the home. She seems to do okay with big dogs. She is currently living with 2 male Berners.
She walks decently on a leash, she will pull towards people and other dogs.
She has never lived with small children. Small children will be too much for her to handle. Teenagers should be fine.
Once she begins to trust and bond with you, she is a love bug. She will cuddle on the sofa for hours of petting.
Sadie is a sweet loving girl. She needs time to trust and move forward. Her forever family should be patient, patient, patient with her. While at the same time work with her to bring her forward a few steps each day. Her adopter will need to teach her all of those pesky house manners. She needs an adopter who will slowly introduce her to the world since it is all new to her.
