Sheena, Bernese Mountain Dog

Our love bug, Sheena, is ready for a forever home to call her own. She is 4 years old, spayed, up to date on vaccines, has a microchip. She weighs 67 pounds, she should weigh less and is on a diet and getting more exercise daily.

Sheena spent most of her life living in a puppy mill having puppies. No more! Only love and treats going forward for this sweet girl.

She has lived with children and does well with them. She can be shy but warms up quickly. She is learning to live in a house! She is crate trained and is mostly house-trained. She knows several commands and listens, well most of the time. She can be stubborn like most Berners. She loves to be petted. She walks well on a leash.

Sheena is extremely picky about the friends she makes. She sometimes loves other dogs and other times, no so much. For this reason, she would do best as the only dog in the home. We have no idea how she would do with cats, we have a feeling she might want to chase them. Probably best no cats at this point in her life.

If you are looking for a wonderful sweet loving companion, Sheena is your girl.

She is located in McCormick, South Carolina. We do not transport our Berners, adopter should plan to pick Sheena up at her foster home. Her adoption donation is $450.00. If interested, please complete our adoption application and return to info@bfwrescue.org
