Zephyr came to us about a month ago, he is a sweet boy who is only 16 months old. His family could not afford to take care of his hip that sadly would require surgery for him to be a normal young energetic Berner. Today is surgery day for Zephyr. The orthopedic surgeon will perform a FHNO on Zephyr's right hip. His recovery time will be 6-8 weeks. His foster is committed to seeing him through all of this, she looks forward to the day he can run with no pain.
